As the colder weather starts to come in, you might be thinking it could be time to put the fire on or maybe you need some logs and kindling to fire up your patio heater! Here at The Cobble Shop, we have nets of Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs and bags of Kiln Dried Kindling to help start up your fire and keep you nice and toasty!
Our logs and kindling are available to collect now! Delivery can also be arranged if required!

Kiln Dried logs have an average moisture content of about 20%, ours have an average of around 12% moisture providing optimum heat output with a cleaner burn, greatly reducing the risk of encountering problems with your wood burning stove or flue.

Our Kindling –
Our kindling is kiln-dried, meaning it is easy to light and will light any open fire, wood or multi-fuel burning stove quickly and effectively! It is suggested by ourselves and our supplier that you should use renewable fire lighters with this product for the best results.

Delivery Information
All deliveries within Ayrshire, Glasgow, East Kilbride, Paisley and surrounding areas will be made with one of our own fleet of hi-ab. lorries. Please leave detailed information about where the goods have to be dropped. We operate a kerbside delivery but where possible will attempt to place your goods in the position of your choice providing this is within reason. We will not however take a lorry off of the public road onto a driveway for example without a damage disclaimer being signed by the customer first. Please ask for details of this when ordering and we will be happy to explain.
All deliveries outside Ayrshire, Glasgow, East Kilbride and Paisley are subcontracted out via palletised carrier companies. It is your responsibility to advise us of any delivery restrictions you may have prior to the goods being despatched, along with your full delivery address including postcode and contact telephone number.
