Maura Block Paving comes in 3 different sizes: 120x160x50mm/160x160x50mm/240x160x50mm
How Many Blocks Per Meter Square?
Sold only per the block.
240mm x 160mm = x26 blocks = 1m2
160mm x 160mm = x39 blocks = 1m2
120mm x 160mm = x52 blocks = 1m2
HOW TO LAY MAURA BLOCK PAVING
- Dig out at least 150mm below the damp proof course of your home (or wherever the paving is being laid) – and incorporate a slope where the land is flat to allow surface water to run off
- Put in your edge restraints – kerbs or edging stones
- Apply a sub base – this should be at least 10mm, whacked/compacted down a few times
- Apply a layer of damp concrete sand and screed it to a finished level
- Lay your block paving in desired design
- Sweep brown paver sand into the block joints, making sure every joint is filled
