The Bostik Cement Colouring is specifically formulated to colour cement, concrete, renders, mortars and screeds.
Available in brick red, buff, russet brown, yellow and black, the colours use pigments that conform to EN 12878: 2005 and are lightfast, with easy dispersion into the dry mix. All colours are suitable for interior and exterior use and are intermixable to give a wide range of shades.
Bostik Colours for Cement can be used with concrete, mortar, renders (e.g. walls, swimming pools) and flooring (sand/cement screeds, granolithic floor).
- Brick Red
- Russet Brown
Gauge colour by weight, never by volume.
In normal use a good depth of colour will be acheived by the ratio of 1 part colour to 20 parts cement by weight.
- For example – 1.25kg of colour to 25kg of cement.
For lighter shades, reduce the weight of the colouring.
For darker shades, increase the weight of the colouring.
The ratio should never exceed 1 part colour to 10 parts cement by weight, e.g. 2.5kg colour to 25kg cement.
The exact colour acheived will depend on the grade and colour of sand, cement and aggregate used. To ensure colour consistency of ingredients for the whole project.
It is recommended that the same batch number of the cement colour is used, mix products before use for consistent colour matching.
The same quantity of gauging water must be added to each batch.
All colours are suitable for interior and exterior use and are intermixable to give a wide range of shades.
Does not affect the performance of the mix.
One tub of colouring is 1kg in weight.
